Ways to Balance your 2nd Chakra
You can balance the second chakra by being open to creativity in your daily life, by maintaining a healthy sexual life and by honoring and respecting your body. Get in touch with your emotions and see if there are any feelings you’re holding onto. If so, make a goal to deal with and process those emotions in a healthy, positive way.
You can also give these things a try...
Left nostril breathing- Close your right nostril with the first two fingers of your right hand and inhale and exhale through the left nostril, only for 8 to 10 breaths. Repeat closing the left nostril with your left hand and inhale and exhale for 8-10 breaths.
The Butterfly Pose with forward fold- In a seated position, bring the bottoms of your feet together. Let your knees drop to the sides and bring your heels in close to your pelvis. Lengthen the torso and fold forward. Hold for at least 5 full, slow and deep breaths. For added measure, focus on your 2nd Chakra.
The Cobra pose- Lie on your stomach with your feet flat on the floor. Place your hands under your shoulders and slowly lift your head, chest, and abdomen while keeping your naval on the floor. Be sure to press down through the pubic bone toward the mat. Hold for at least 5 full, slow and deep breaths. For added measure, focus on your 2nd Chakra.
The mantra sound that corresponds to the 2nd Chakra is the sound VAM. By chanting VAM, the vibrations will open and align your Sacral Chakra.
