Tuesday's supermoon Full moon is the last of three consecutive supermoons that began back in October, it coincides with the peak of the annual Geminid meteor shower, on Dec. 13 and 14, and also activates what astrologers refer to as a mystic rectangle with fixed stars Capella, Phact & Mintaka.
