Monthly Spiritual Guide- Ritual, Meditation, Breathwork, Journal Prompt, Mantra, Positive Words & Energy with a dash of Magic (the good kind)!
Hey — you, reading this with your favorite drink in hand, maybe the windows cracked open to that first autumn chill. October is one of those months I always look forward to, because it feels like the cosmos leans in close and whispers: “Here’s where things change.”
This year, the astrological currents promise to make October not just another seasonal shift, but a turning point.
We begin under Libra’s influence, with the Sun and Venus highlighting harmony, beauty, relationships, and the art of balance. It’s a gentle invitation to ask: Do my outer life and my inner self reflect each other?
Use these early weeks to smooth edges, restore what’s been chipped, or recalibrate connection.
Then — brace yourself — Scorpio season comes in, and the mood shifts. Depth, intensity, transformation, mysteries: everything that’s been lurking in the background wants to come forward. Mercury slides into Scorpio on October 6, pushing conversations into more vulnerable space. Secrets might spill or surface. You’ll find your intuition sharper, your inner radar more sensitive.
We also have some powerful moon magic in October: a Full Moon in Aries on October 6, and a New Moon in Libra on October 21. The Full Moon is always about culmination, release, and illumination; the New Moon is about fresh seeds, intentions, and what you’re ready to nurture next.
Beyond that, later in the month there’s a cosmic blessing: a Grand Trine involving Jupiter, Mercury, and Saturn forming around October 22–25. That’s a rare alignment where support and ease flow — especially around communication, growth, and structure. Use it.
The sky isn’t just symbolic this October — it’s active. There’s a meteor shower (Orionids) peaking around October 22–23, enhanced by the darkness of the New Moon. Use that as celestial punctuation: wishes, prayers, soul messages, starlit releases.
October offers a structured yet magical container. The sky supports you in releasing what no longer works, in turning truths into transformation, and in planting real seeds for your next chapter.
How October 2025 Serves Your Spirit
What It’s Especially Good For…
- Emotional clarity & honesty — Scorpio season (with Mercury dipping in) shows you where you’ve hidden, deferred, or held back. This is a month to meet those shadow places with courage.
- Relationship recalibration — Because the Sun, Venus, and New Moon all touch Libra themes, the dance between self and other is under cosmic spotlight.
- Releasing & harvesting — The Full Moon in Aries gives you permission to name what must go, energetically or emotionally.
- Planting sacred seeds — The New Moon in Libra is a soft reset for intentions around peace, beauty, harmony, and authentic connection.
- Receiving cosmic ease — That Grand Trine isn’t trivial; it supports you when you lean in and ask for help.
- Stargazing & ritual portals — The meteor shower and darker skies around the New Moon are perfect for scrying, stargazing, working with symbols of falling stars/fate.
So yeah — I think October is one of the best months spiritually! And, you really cannot beat the weather!

Mini Meditation
Sit in a quiet place. Close your eyes. Imagine standing beneath a dark sky just after the New Moon — that time when stars seem sharper.
You see a faint pulse in the cosmos, aligned with that Grand Trine. You raise your palms to “catch” three beams of light — one for growth (Jupiter), one for truth (Mercury), one for structure (Saturn).
As you inhale, those lights flow into your body; as you exhale, they settle, roots finding ground in your bones.
You say inwardly: “May I align with support, speak my truth, and allow structure to serve me.”
Stay there as long as needed.
Ritual: Starfall & Intent Seeds
You’ll need: a small bowl, black and white candles, a piece of paper, pen, and (if possible) loose star-shaped glitter or tiny symbolic tokens (like small stones).
Light the black candle. On your piece of paper, write what you release — say two or three things you carry heavier than you should.
Crumple or tear the paper and place inside the bowl.
Light the white candle. On fresh paper, write what you intend to grow — qualities, boundaries, dreams.
Sprinkle a pinch of the star glitter or place your tokens around the bowl. Say:
“As stars fall, my old burdens slip away. As light rises, new seeds take root.”
Safely burn or bury the release paper. Keep the intentions somewhere sacred (on your altar, tucked under your pillow, or in a small box).
Do this ideally near the New Moon, or anytime you feel stuck.
Breathing Exercise: The Three-Point Pulse
- Inhale for 4 counts, drawing in harmony, balance, and clarity.
- Hold for 4 counts, letting the energy settle in your body.
- Pulse (short inhale-exhale) for 3 quick cycles (1 count in, 1 count out, 3 times) — imagine shaking free residue, tension.
- Exhale slowly for 6 counts, releasing what’s unsettled.
- Repeat 5 rounds. End with a deep inhalation, hold, then a long, freeing exhale.
This breathing mirrors October’s push — clarity, quick shifts, then slow letting-go.
Journal Prompts
During the Full Moon: What story or pattern do I feel ready to release?
During the New Moon: Which intentions am I ready to align with in my relationships, in my self-expression, in my balance?
Looking at the Grand Trine: Where in my life can I lean into ease, ask for help, and allow flow instead of forcing?
At month’s close: Which seeds I planted this October feel rooted already, and which need more tending?
Mantra
“I release with courage, I align with support, I plant with intention, I walk into transformation.”
October is a reminder that beauty exists in letting go.
As the trees release their leaves, so too can we release what no longer serves us.
Step into this month with trust — every ending is simply an invitation to begin again.
Happy October!
